The Community Feeding Program
A common struggle of families in poverty is the continuous challenge of finding sufficient food for the day. SWS survey reported an alarming 2.9 million Filipino households experience hunger or not having anything to eat at least once a day. Obtaining adequate, nutritious food for themselves and their families is a dilemma that results in undernourishment. Undernourishment negatively affects people's health, productivity, sense of hope and overall well-being. In Amsic community here in Angeles City Philippines, the burden of this condition falls mostly on children, women and elderly people. For them, hunger is a customary state that results from surviving on two small meals a day or less for weeks and sometimes months. They are the ones most terribly in need of our help. In reply to this need, the Community Feeding Program of Home and Abroad Ministries desires to keep Christ at the center of all we do and is dedicated to caring for the needy and giving them hope by spreading the good news of the gospel. Healthy meals and nourishing drinks are distributed in conjunction with this Bible-based and Christ-centered program.
Education
Education is essential to lifelong positive change in children's lives. Yet for millions of impoverished children and youth, education is beyond reach. Home and Abroad Ministries has worked for underserved children through Humphrey Foundation Learning Center Inc., an educational Bible-based institution & part of the Humphrey Humanitarian Ministries that aims to disciple, train & enable children to grow into fulfilled and responsible adults. Home and Abroad Ministries offers educational opportunities to needy children and youth living in desperate poverty in efforts to share God's love in a tangible way as they become agents of change for their community.
Medical Mission

Home and Abroad Ministries works to improve the health of children and families in poverty-stricken areas such as Amsic by providing healthcare services with the eternal healing of Jesus. Licensed medical doctors and dentists volunteer their time and services to the needy areas to include Angeles City. Our Medical Mission and Dental services visit areas with little access to health care, providing anyone who needs these services with medical and/or dental treatment at no cost. This program is such a blessing to the families with children who have little access to health care or who have no other way to afford medical care. We provide free medicine, medical checkups and routine/minor medical treatment, free eye checkups, cataract removals, tooth extraction and dental care to indigent patients in the area as medical staff and funds are available. We are dedicated to enhance both physical and spiritual well being of these people and opportunity to bring them medical help and spiritual wellness with the message of Jesus Christ.

We invite churches, Christian professional groups and individuals to visit these needy areas with us and be a part of this rewarding experience that will last forever.

Water Well Ministries
Water is said to be the foundation for life, growth and human development. Yet for people living in poverty, access to safe and clean drinking water is unavailable. The absence of this vital resource results in a host of unbearable problems including life-threatening diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid, guinea worm and hepatitis. Any one of these diseases can devastate a community’s population, especially the young ones among them. The Water Well Ministry of Home and Abroad has been digging wells and installing pumps drawing people to the saving knowledge of Christ. No one who fetches water from this well will remain unsaved so goes the saying. God always has means for them to get to know Him. A God who provides drinking water for them also provides living water. It is the heart of this ministry to see people have access to safe water, better health and the knowledge of Jesus’ love.

Widows Ministry Home and Abroad Ministries supports widows and their fatherless families who are struggling to carry out the sole responsibility to care and provide for their children and at times even for their grandchildren.
